We all know that getting a haircut can be a wonderful, relaxing and refreshing experience but for children it can sometimes be the exact opposite. There can be fear, anxiety and dread when the word "haircut" is even mentioned. Our whole team here at Littles Haircut Factory are here to relieve all of those scary unknows. By making it all about children and making them feel comfortable it takes the stress and worry off of them and off of the parents. We spend the time to talk to them like a best friend and let them know that they can trust us. We also welcome with open arms children with special needs of any kind. Whether it be spending the extra time and walking a child with sensory issues through each and every step we are going to take for their haircut to doing a full haircut in a child's wheelchair, we will make it happen with ease for you and your child. We are a special group of people that have the love and patience to make each and every child leave the salon with a smile on their face!

what a trip to our salon looks like
From the easy online booking and payment to the second you and your kiddo walk in the door we are proud to say we have thought of almost everything!! Whether you are here for your baby's first haircut or bringing us your crazy toddler or your cool pre-teen we are ready for you. We have a great playground with a slide, an activity desk or your kiddo can enjoy some books from the book box while they wait for their stylists to call them back. We are prepped and ready with fun vintage cars to sit in, tv's for their favorite show and a busy bin to keep them preoccupied while we start their hair service. The older kids love the video games they can play while they are getting their haircut. Along with our patience all of these things work together for the perfect haircut! Oh yea and of course there are free suckers or a candy machine if that's what it takes! After their hair service they are free to go and we promise it will be with a smile on your face and theirs!
tips for a great time at Littles
- Our after school hours book up the fastest. It is always easier to get in if you are able to come in for a morning or early afternoon appt.
​ - Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled appt. This insures we are not rushed while cutting your kiddos hair.
- Please come in extra early if your child would like to play for a moment or if they need to use the restroom before their haircut. We don't allocate extra play or bathroom time in the time slot for their haircut. Those timely things can make for a rushed haircut
- Please, Please do not let your children come back and get in the cars before their stylist has called them back. It makes for a distraction if your stylist is still with another child and also can backfire if your child is already over the fun aspect of the cars, tvs and busy bins by the time it is their turn.
- You are more than welcome to bring along any extra guests or any items that make your child feel more comfortable, such as snacks, blankies, etc.
- Your timing matters! We have found that little ones that have been away from parents all day don't do well for evening appts. They don't love being put with a stranger for something they are unfamiliar with. Small children also don't do well when you bring them to their appointment at naptime. Make sure when you're booking that you take these things into consideration! Trust us, it helps!
- We love idea pictures! If you are having trouble finding the words that describe what kind of haircut your kiddo wants, please do some homework ahead of time and find some images to show us that give us an idea of what you want.
- Never be afraid to contact us about anything you are unsure of. We will do our best to get back with you by the end of the day!
